Oxton Science Journal follows the joint Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (COPE, DOAJ, OASPA and WAME). The information below documents our compliance.
Ownership and management
The journal is owned, managed and maintained by Oxton Education. Editorial decisions are made independently of the publisher and of any commercial consideration.
Governing body & editorial team
The journal is directed by its Editor-in-Chief and an editorial board of qualified experts, with subject-area (section) editors handling submissions in their fields. Full names and affiliations are listed on the Editorial Board page.
Aims & scope
Our focus and scope are described on the About page. We publish original research, reviews, short communications and case studies across the major fields of knowledge.
Peer-review process
All research content is subject to double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. The full process and timelines are described in our Editorial Policies and Author Guidelines.
Access
The journal is fully open access. All articles are freely available to read, download and reuse immediately upon publication, with no embargo and no registration required.
Copyright & licensing
Authors retain copyright of their work. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits use, distribution and reproduction with proper attribution. The license is stated on every article page and in the article metadata.
Publication fees
There are no submission charges and no article-processing charges (APCs). Publishing in Oxton Science Journal is free for authors, and reading is free for everyone.
Publication ethics & malpractice
We adhere to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Our policies on plagiarism, authorship, conflicts of interest, corrections and retractions, and the use of artificial intelligence are detailed in the Editorial Policies. Suspected misconduct is investigated by the editorial board.
Corrections & retractions
When warranted, we publish corrections, expressions of concern or retractions following COPE guidance. The original article remains available and is clearly linked to the notice to preserve the scholarly record.
Archiving & preservation
Oxton Education maintains the publishing infrastructure and is committed to the long-term preservation and continued availability of published content. Article metadata are openly exposed for indexing services and harvesters via an OAI-PMH 2.0 endpoint (Dublin Core):

Revenue & advertising
The journal has no article-processing charges and does not display advertising. It is supported by Oxton Education. Business and editorial decisions are kept fully independent.
Publishing schedule & identifiers
The journal is identified by ISSN 3086-0881. Content is published on a continuous basis and organised into issues. Published articles are assigned a persistent DOI.
