Oxton Science Journal is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal (ISSN 3086-0881), managed and maintained by Oxton Education. We publish original research, reviews, short communications and case studies across the major fields of knowledge.

Yes. Every article is freely available to read, download and reuse immediately upon publication, under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. There is no embargo and no paywall.

No. There are no submission charges and no article-processing charges (APCs). Publishing is free for authors and reading is free for everyone.

Article metadata are openly exposed for indexing services and harvesters through an OAI-PMH endpoint, and every published article receives a persistent DOI. See our Transparency page for details.

Create an account (or sign in), then use Submit a manuscript. A step-by-step wizard guides you through the metadata, authors, files and declarations. You can save a draft at any time.

Manuscripts may be submitted as PDF or Word (.doc/.docx), up to 20 MB. Supplementary files (datasets, figures, appendices) can be uploaded separately.

Because we use double-blind review, you submit a complete version (with author details) and an anonymized version (without any identifying information). The anonymized file is the one sent to reviewers.

No. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. See the Author Guidelines.

From your dashboard, open the submission to see a progress timeline (received → under review → decision → published) and any reviewer comments shared with you.

After an editorial triage, each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind model. The handling editor makes the final decision based on the reports.

Accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject. If revisions are requested, you can submit a revised version and respond to the reviewers directly from your dashboard.

It varies by field and reviewer availability. You can follow every stage in real time from your dashboard, and you are notified at each transition.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under CC BY 4.0.

Yes. Published articles are assigned a persistent DOI, and a ready-to-copy citation (APA, Vancouver, ABNT) plus BibTeX/RIS downloads are provided on each article page.

Absolutely. Under CC BY 4.0 you may share, copy and reuse the article in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

We follow COPE guidance. Plagiarism, data fabrication and duplicate submission result in rejection and, if discovered after publication, retraction. See the Editorial Policies.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and any use of generative AI must be disclosed. Authors remain fully responsible for the content. See our AI policy.

When warranted, we publish a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction following COPE guidance. The original article stays available and is clearly linked to the notice.
