Oxton Science Journal (ISSN 3086-0881) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal maintained by Oxton Education, dedicated to publishing rigorous research across the health, applied and interdisciplinary sciences.
Overview
Oxton Science Journal publishes original research, reviews and methodological contributions that advance scientific knowledge and connect evidence to practice. All content is published in full open access, with persistent DOIs and structured metadata, so that every article is free to read, download, cite and reuse worldwide.
Our mission
We exist to accelerate the trustworthy communication of science. We are committed to methodological rigor, editorial independence, transparency and equitable access to knowledge — ensuring that sound research reaches the researchers, clinicians, educators and decision-makers who can act on it.
Peer review
Every submission undergoes double-blind peer review: the identities of authors and reviewers are mutually concealed to protect the impartiality of the assessment. Manuscripts are first screened editorially for scope, integrity and completeness, then evaluated by independent experts, and finally decided by a handling editor on the basis of scientific merit alone.
Open access
Oxton Science Journal is fully open access. Authors retain copyright and articles are distributed under a Creative Commons licence, allowing sharing and adaptation with proper attribution. There are no fees to read, and standard submissions are published without an article processing charge.
Publication ethics & integrity
We uphold internationally recognised standards of publication ethics. We take plagiarism, data fabrication, undisclosed conflicts of interest and authorship disputes seriously, and we require clear statements on funding, ethics approval, data availability, author contributions and the use of artificial intelligence. Corrections and retractions are issued transparently when warranted.
Indexing & discoverability
Each article is registered with a DOI and published with rich, structured metadata to maximise discoverability and citation across academic search engines and indexing services. Our continuous-publication model means accepted, peer-reviewed work is made available promptly.

Oxton Science Journal is maintained by Oxton Education, which provides the institutional, technical and editorial infrastructure that sustains the journal — including the publishing platform, DOI registration and long-term availability of the published record. This support is institutional only: it does not influence peer review or editorial decisions, which remain entirely independent and under the responsibility of the journal's editorial board.
